A project of Freedom in Education (opens in a new tab)
Every claim on this site carries a grade, a source, and an honest note on what we don't know yet. The site is free, with no logins.
Who it connects
The field runs in three rings: the researchers who found it, the translators who made it usable, and the teachers who use it. This site links them, so a teacher reading about worked examples can go from Sweller's finding to Groshell's explanation to what it looks like in their grade band.
Four depths
Every principle has a 60-second card and a 5-minute brief; the seven proven in classrooms also have a playbook and a full evidence file. Every page is reachable in two clicks from four doors. A principal gets the card; a curriculum director can drill to every study.
| Depth | Time | What's on it |
|---|---|---|
| Card | 60 seconds | The finding in one sentence, what to do, the grade badge |
| Brief | 5 minutes | Why it works, what it looks like in each grade band, common mistakes, what to look for in a visit |
| Playbook | 30–60 minutes | Routines, scripts, examples, templates, a 4-week try-it plan |
| Evidence file | As long as needed | Every study with what it compared, contested points, what we don't know, change log |
Four ways in
- By role. "I'm a principal" opens products built for that job.
- By principle. The 14 principles.
- By grade band and subject. K–2 math, 6–8 science, and so on.
- By problem. Plain questions people actually type: "My students forget everything by the test." "Our math scores dropped in 4th grade." "Which reading curriculum should we buy?"
Every way in lands on the same principle page, so the content is written once and serves every role.
